Oogwai is built in Dubai & Bengaluru by a team of founders, engineers, testers and designers. We make software that reads business data and answers questions about it — and we use every one of our own products before we sell it.
Why we exist
Every business we work with already has more data than it can use. What it does not have is a way to ask that data a question without an export, a pivot table and someone’s Friday evening.
That gap has been filled for twenty years by dashboards. Dashboards answer the questions you had when you built them. The useful questions arrive later, are specific, and change weekly — which is why the spreadsheet never actually goes away.
Oogwai exists to close that gap properly: connect the source, understand what the fields mean in your account, and answer the question that was actually asked, with the working shown so it can be checked.
What we believe
An answer without a traceable source is a guess with better formatting. Every figure carries its origin.
A system that always answers will eventually answer wrongly and confidently. Ours declines when the data cannot support the question.
Connection, sync, query, answer, alert. Products that hand you a half-solved problem are just a different kind of homework.
The test of any feature is whether someone stops doing a task manually. If nothing gets removed, nothing was built.

Some of what we build is not for sale. We publish interactive visualisations of public datasets — Schengen visa statistics, Mumbai lake levels — because the same techniques that make a company’s data answerable make civic data legible.
